As it turns out, "the Shepherd's crazy cult" does indeed have a more formal name. The name of Spiritual Renewal Society was basically plucked out of thin air as I was writing the Shepherd's cast page entry. I'm quite lazy, so expect it to be abbreviated to SRS most of the time.The Spiritual Renewal Society "Temple" mentioned here is actually little more than a rundown old apartment block, as seen briefly in the first panel of this comic.
